American Thanksgiving in Canada

Kathy, Brennan, Aaron, and Amr. We had a nice spread of food. Sweet Potatoes-candy yams...lots of sugar and marshmellows. This was a different dish for Canadians. We also had squash and zucchini casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie. I suprised myself for sure. It was my first time making Thanksgiving dinner without my grandma's! Everything turned out just fine.

Brennan had some problems keeping the deep fryer going at first. But with the help of some duck tape, our worries subsided!

Brent and Kathy are posing for me because I had to get a picture of our brown living room. I am a much better painter than I thought! Brennan and I had fun doing this project!

The deep fryer was placed on the deck right in the snow. It worked out good. The neighbors thought we were in some colt or something. They had never seen a deep fryer like this one. We got in Georgia.

Brennan carved the turkey that we deep fried! He did a great job and I think he suprised himself. He was not too turned on when he discovered that the heart and the neck are my favorite pieces of the Turkey!!

Aaron and Amr are two of Brennan's friends who came over for dinner and football.
