Our Lovely Snow Storm!

We got a pretty bad snow storm that came up from the Northern States
The #1 question I get when people find out I am from Flroida is: "How do ya like the snow?" My answer: "Well, it takes some getting used to that is for sure!"

Our grill puts things into perspective!

Patio furniture? yeah, it needs to be put in the shed!

Christmas Time

Our first Christmas married and in our new house!

Brennan and I in our livingroom before we went out on Christmas Eve Eve

On our annual Cass Pub Crawl. We always meet up with a few other couples at the bars in town. Then we walk from one to other for a couple of drinks. Always a good time.

Me, Brent, and Dave (a family friend)

Brennan and I went snowshoeing through the golf course on Christmas Eve. It was lots of fun and a very good workout.

Me in the trees on our snowshoeing walk

We saw a white tailed deer on the side of the road. It stood there and stared at us. It was awesome!

We cut down a x-mas tree!!

Brennan and I went to a 'redneck garage sale' looking house. An old man was playing with his scraps in his yard. We saw an advertisement "xmas trees cut your own", so we did! It was quite the experience. The man handed us a saw and said go find ya one. So we were off on a treasure hunt. We both wanted the perfect tree to light up and sing in front of us like the Griswald experience!
It fit perfectly in our living room!

We are ready for Santa Claus to come!
Merry Christmas!

American Thanksgiving in Canada

Kathy, Brennan, Aaron, and Amr. We had a nice spread of food. Sweet Potatoes-candy yams...lots of sugar and marshmellows. This was a different dish for Canadians. We also had squash and zucchini casserole, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing, turkey, ham, cranberry sauce, and of course pumpkin pie. I suprised myself for sure. It was my first time making Thanksgiving dinner without my grandma's! Everything turned out just fine.

Brennan had some problems keeping the deep fryer going at first. But with the help of some duck tape, our worries subsided!

Brent and Kathy are posing for me because I had to get a picture of our brown living room. I am a much better painter than I thought! Brennan and I had fun doing this project!

The deep fryer was placed on the deck right in the snow. It worked out good. The neighbors thought we were in some colt or something. They had never seen a deep fryer like this one. We got in Georgia.

Brennan carved the turkey that we deep fried! He did a great job and I think he suprised himself. He was not too turned on when he discovered that the heart and the neck are my favorite pieces of the Turkey!!

Aaron and Amr are two of Brennan's friends who came over for dinner and football.

Mini Honeymoon golfing in Huntsville Ontario

Mr. and Mrs.

We got a wonderful gift from one of our groomsmen to go golfing at two beautiful resorts in nothern Ontario. We stayed at Grandview Resort and golfed at Grandview Golf course and Lake Joseph Golf course. It was a fun weekend where we relaxed and enjoyed being newlyweds!

We had a fire in our room and loved it after a cold day of golfing!

We finally Tied the Knot

The first tme everyone saw me was with my Dad!

My Dad walked me down the isle. He's the best dad ever. Not a tear fell, they all seemed to stay in my eyes. He held my lip gloss and continued to ask if I was okay. What a great day!

Exchanging of the vows was very short and simple, but very heart-felt!

Kissing as we danced.

On September 29, 2007, in St. Augustine, Florida friends and family enjoyed a weekend of fun while celebrating our Wedding Day!

My Four sisters. Ashleigh Cass, Ashley, Jennifer, and Jackie
Cutting the cake... next was the cake fight!
A very happy groom! Brennan didn't show any signs of nervousness. He was having a great time with all of our friends who made the sacrifices to come to the wedding.

I was a very happy bride. My cheeks hurt so bad from smiling so much!

Outside pictures were very windy, but turned out okay.

The minute we had our first dance, everyone rished the dance floor. What a wild bunch we had at our wedding/party!

Mother's Day at Our House

For Mother's Day this year we decided to invite the Canadian parents/grandparents/aunts and uncles over for dinner. We had a great time eating on the deck in summer. You will see this is our house when we moved in. We have since painted and rearranged furniture. The first time having people over to celebrate a holiday was a great success. I wish my own family from Florida could have made it. Next family event will be American Thanksgiving!
